  • 2 insulated rings one of slightly smaller diameter than the other,are suspended along their common diameter with their planes mutually perpendicular as shown.when a steady current is set up in each of them:

    a)the 2 rings rotate in a comman plane

    b)inner small ring oscillates about its initial position

    c)inner smaller ring stays stationary , while the outer bigger ring moves into the plane of inner ring


    d)outer bigger ring stays stationary while the inner smaller ring moves in the plane of outer ring

    Help me with this!!! Im stuck!

  • They will exert torque on each other and will come in a common plane.
