If you are always inquisitive about how the aircraft flies high in the sky with a weight like it’s? Or how satellites up there transmit telephonic and television signals? Or how does a non living thing travels and sends us pictures of outer space when there is no man handling it? Then Aeronautical Engineering may be the right career for you.
 
Aeronautical/ Aerospace Engineering is one of the most technically advanced branches of engineering. It deals with the development of new technology in the field of aviation, space exploration and defense systems. It specializes in designing, construction, development, testing, operation and maintenance of both commercial and military aircrafts, spacecrafts and their components as well as satellites and missiles. The main trust in this area is on design and development, which extends to even space and satellite research. Aeronautical engineers usually work in groups under the supervision of senior engineers, bringing together their skills and technical expertise. One needs to be alert and have an eye for details and should have a high level of mathematical precision.
 
The specialization includes in areas like design, navigation guidance and control systems, instruments and communication or production methods or it can be in a particular product such as military aircrafts, passenger planes, helicopters, satellites, rockets etc. Engineers may work in managerial and teaching posts in institutes as well.
 
Eligibility:
Minimum eligibility is pass in 10 + 2 with at least 60% in PCM. Personal skills like problem solving skills, ability to work quick and under pressure, think fast and work in a team are what make a successful aeronautical Engineer.
