Ans: Yes, minimum academic qualification for admission to Engineering Degree Programmes through All India Engineering Entrance Examination is a pass in 10 + 2 Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent referred to as a qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics. Those appearing in the 1 0 + 2 final or equivalent examinations may also appear in AIEEE for consideration of provisional admission. But they shall not be eligible for admission to Engineering Degree Programmes if they do not pass the qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

3. Which all institutions I can get admitted to?

Ans: This year many other institutions – Central Universities / Deemed Universities, National Institutes of Technology and other institutions like Army Institute of Technology, Pune, are expected to admit students through AIEEE. Open seats in state level institutions are also expected to be filled through this Examination in terms of their own reservation policy/domicile requirement. States / UTs would have option either to join AIEEE or continue with their existing arrangements for admission to state seats in state level institutions.
