  • Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Test (EAMCET)
A Common Entrance Test, designated as Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) of Andhra Pradesh is conducted by one of the state Universities (as per G.O.Ms. No. 16 Edn., (EC) Department Dt:25/2/2004 and its amendments) for entry into the first year of the following professional courses offered in all engineering and medical colleges including Private as well as minority institutions affiliated to the University of Andhra, Kakatiya, Nagarjuna, Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural, JNTU, Osmania, Sri Krishnadevaraya , Sri Venkateswara and Regional Engineering College for Andhra Pradesh quota seats.

The Bihar Combined Entrance ComBCECEitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has been constituted by the Government of Bihar in accordance with the Bihar Combined Entrance ComBCECEitive Examination Act 1995. The Board presently conducts Combined Competitive Entrance Examinations (BCECE) for admission in graduate level Vocational Courses in Engineering, Medical and Agricultural streams available in the Universities, Colleges and Institutions of the State of Bihar as well as those situated outside Bihar against State Quota seats.

  • Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET)
GSEB (Gujarat State Education Board), Government of Gujarat conducts a Common Entrance Test for admission to Medical, Degree Engineering and Diploma/ Degree Pharmacy courses in colleges in the Gujarat state after Std. XII Science Stream. 

Admission to B.E/B.Tech Courses in Government / University / Private Engineering Colleges in Gujarat affiliated to the Universities of Bhavnagar, Gujarat, MS Baroda, North Gujarat, Sardar Patel, Saurashtra and South Gujarat is made by the State-Level Admission Committee (SLAC).


 


  • Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET)
A Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa for the candidates seeking admission to first year degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture in various colleges in Goa.  Admission to Degree course in Architecture shall be on the basis of National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA).

The State of Haryana has decided not to conduct separate State entrance test CEET for admissions to AICTE approved B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. Programmes offered by Universities through their designated departments, Govt. /Govt. Aided/Private unaided minority & non-minority institutions located in the State.

Admissions shall be made on the basis of the inter se merit of AIEEE through On-line Off-Campus counseling by NIC.

  • Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Exam (JCECE)
JCECE, Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is conducted by JCECE Board  for admission into the First Year of the following Degree Courses :– 
  •  Engineering Stream :Engineering Degree Course in different Govt./Pvt. Engineering Institutes/Colleges situated in Jharkhand State. 
  • Medical Stream : MBBS & BDS/Homeopathic Course in Govt. and Pvt. Institutes situated in Jharkhand State. 
  • Agriculture Stream : Degree Course in Agriculture, Veterinary and Forestry in Birsa Agriculture University, Kanke, Ranchi.
  • Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET)
The Karnataka State Level Common Entrance Test is being conducted for the purpose of admission of students to the I year or I semester of full time courses in Medical, Dental and Engineering Courses in professional degree within the State of Karnataka in respect of the seats falling to the share of the State Government.

The seats available in various professional colleges in the State of Karnataka have been in the first place, divided into free and payment seats and then shared between the managements and State Government. The payment seats are further sub-divided into Karnataka quota and Non-Karnataka quota. Admissions to these seats will be made in accordance with the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Engineering, Medical and Dental Courses Rules, 1997, as amended from time to time, which has been framed under the Karnataka Educational Institution ( Prohibition of Capitation Fee ) Act, 1984. The Common Entrance Test will be conducted at 41 places, spread over Karnataka.


 


  • Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM)
KEAM is conducted by the Controller of Entrance Examination of Kerala state. Admission to Professional degree courses which has been approved by the Govt. of Kerala is made on the basis of merit obtained in this entrance exam. Pre Engineering Test (PET) is conducted every year by Professional Examination Board (PEB), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The examination is meant for admission in any of the engineering colleges of the state of Madhya Pradesh such as Government Engineering Colleges; Private Engineering Colleges; Autonomous Institutions and MP quota seats in National Institute of Technology. Intakes into the different engineering degree programs (B.E/B.Arch./BTech) is on the basis of Pre Engineering Test (PET) merit ranking.

  • Maharashtra Engineering Entrance Exam (CET)
Common Entrance Test ( CET - Maharashtra )is conducted by the directorate of Technical Education for all health sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses.  The Government of Maharashtra is appointed a Competent Authority  for the MHT-CET for each streams. 

The merit list of the above said examination will be utilized for admission in:

1) Govt. / Corp. / Govt. Aided Colleges of Health Sciences degree courses.

2) Govt. /Govt. Aided / University Managed Colleges / University Departments and Unaided Private Colleges (those colleges who have given consent to participate in MHT-CET-2007) of Engineering & Pharmacy degree courses

3) BVSc & AH degree course.


 


  • North East State Engineering Entrance (NEE)

The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is conducted by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology for admission to certificate, Diploma and Degree programmes.

North-East Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) is conducting entrance exam for the eight North East states of India. The academic programmes offered in the institute are in the Engineering / Technology and Applied Science streams. The Engineering and Technology stream at NERIST consist of three modules (Certificate, Diploma and Degree) each of two years duration. In Applied science stream offers a two-year base module and four-year degree module. Each module has an entry point through an entrance examination conducted by NERIST. Each module also provides terminality corresponding to an occupational level, and at the same time allows entry to the next higher module, finally leading to a degree in engineering/technology. The system also allows lateral entry from outside with necessary pre-requisites, at the Diploma and Degree levels. Three different examinations known as NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III are held to take admission at three different levels. NERIST Entrance Examinations are conducted in various Centres located in the North Eastern States of India.

The entrance exam is conducting to get admission to the undermentioned programmes from the eight North East states of India.

  • Degree Module in Forestry
  • Degree Module in Technology.
The departments which offer admission in Base, Diploma and Degree Modules in Technology are : Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Agricultural Engineering. Computer Science Department offers admission to Diploma and Degree Modules only. Department of Applied Science offers admission to Base Module of two years and Degree Module of four years in Forestry.


  • Orissa Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Orissa is conducted  by the State of Orissa  for admission to the first year Degree courses in Engineering/Technology, Architecture, Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT), MBBS/BDS, Pharmacy, MCA, MBA and to the Lateral Entry of State candidates to third semester of degree courses in Engineering/Technology, HMCT and Pharmacy.

Puducherry Joint Entrance Test is conducted by the Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC), Government of Puducherry,  for students who seek admission for first year Engineering and medical colleges courses available in the Government Degree courses. 

To get admission, candidates must appear for the JET relevant papers and also submit admission application to CENTAC.

  • Punjab Technical University Combined Entrance Test (PTU CET)
A Combined Entrance Test is conducted by the Punjab Technical University for admission to first year Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy courses in the colleges affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and Punjab University, Patiala. Admission to PTU Caparo School of Excellence in Manufacturing and Material Technology shall also be made on the basis of this entrance test. After successful completion of any such program, a degree in relevant discipline is awarded by the Punjab Technical University.

  • Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test (RPET)
Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test - RPET is conducted by Board of Technical Education Rajasthan. The admission into1st semester / first year of different undergraduate engineering / architecture / pharmacy / diploma in pharmacy programs offered into various colleges across the state of Rajasthan is made on the basis of RPET merit rankings. This test is officially abbreviated as “RPETEAP” which stands for “Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test for Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy”. Both, government aided and private unaided technical institutes of Rajasthan accept the merit ranking of RPET for admission into various programs. However, BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other deemed universities does not accept RPETEAP merit ranking and takes their own test for admission.   Courses

  • Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)
The Indian Institutes of Technology are institutions of national importance established through an Act of Parliament. These Institutes play a leading role in technological manpower development and have research programmes comparable to the best in the world. The admissions to the Undergraduate Programmes for all Indian and Foreign nationals at these institutions are made through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

Technical University along with some other Universities of Uttar Pradesh. Central Admission Board – CAB, constituted by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh under the Chairmanship of Vice Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow is controlling and supervising the SEE.

Arch Course in Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur and Jadavpur University during the academic session


  • Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test

A Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BPEE) in the State of Jammu & Kashmir by an Act of the State Legislative. Under the Act, the Board is assigned with chore of conducting entrance tests and selection of candidates for admission to various professional courses in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. The purpose of conducting the Common Entrance Test is for determining eligibility / merit of students seeking admission to undergraduate medical, dental, engineering and agriculture courses. Both the Government aided and affiliated private institutions in J&K will accept the merit ranking of CET  for admission into various programs.

The test will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Board of the Professional Entrance Examinations Act, 2002, Jammu and Kashmir, Reservation Act, 2004 , J&K Reservation Rules, 2005, rules , orders , notifications and directions issued/ to be issued by the Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir from be time to time concerning undergraduate professional Education in medical, agriculture and engineering fields .
