Karnataka CET 2009 exam postponed to May 6 & 7
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to professional colleges has been postponed in view of the clash with upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Karnataka Examination Authority on Tuesday announced May 6 and 7 as the new dates for CET. The earlier dates were April 29 and 30.
Common Entrance Test and Kannada-language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates will be held as follows:
Wednesday, May 6: 10.30-11.50 am: Biology (60 marks); 2.30 -3.50 pm: Maths (60 marks)
Thursday, May 7: 10.30-11.50 am: Physics (60 marks); 2.30-3.50 pm: Chemistry (60 marks)
Friday, May 8: 11 am: Kannada test for Gadinadu Kannadigas; 1 pm: Kannada test for Horanadu Kannadigas.
However, the seat-selection process will be held as per the schedule notified in the CET-2009 brochure.
