Manipal (ENAT) Mock Test Details
The mock test is mainly designed to provide the candidates a feel of the test flow and its different components. The mock test will give the candidate an idea of all the features of the ENAT. The actual ENAT may not be identical to the mock test.

Admission Details


BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING
DURATION: 4 years.

Candidates have the option of joining the integrated MBA course after the completion of second year. CLICK HERE For details of the intergrated MBA course.


ELIGIBILITYCITIZENSHIP: Indian Nationals.



DATE OF BIRTH: Only those whose date of birth falls on or before 31.12.92 are eligible to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS: Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with physics,Mathematics and English with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology or Statistics or Engineering Drawing as optional subjects for admission and a minimum of 50% marks in physics, mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

ADMISSIONS

GENERAL CATEGORY:Admissions are done on the basis of rank in an all India EPSI National Admission Test (ENAT 09).

FOREIGN/NRI CATEGORY:Admissions under this category are handled by a separate office. Candidates desirous of applying under this category should CLICK HERE for details.


Candidates can apply both under General and Foreign/NRI category. Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General after admission will not be entertained under any circumstances.

GROUP II: Applicable to BE course.



TEST PATTERN: The test duration is of 2.30 hours and consists of 240 multiple choice questions (MCQ) of the objective type. The approximate distribution of questions is as follows: Physics -60 questions, Chemistry - 60 questions, Mathematics - 80 questions, English & General Aptitude - 40 questions.



ENAT 09 SYLLABI

MERIT LIST
Based on the marks obtained in ENAT 09,

Manipal
University

will declare the merit list of all candidates who have appeared for the entrance test. The merit list will be displayed on or before 25.05.09 in the website. In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks, the inter-se merit of such candidates will be determined on the basis of higher marks in the order of preference as under:

• Mathematics in ENAT 09
• Physics in ENAT 09
• Chemistry in ENAT 09
• PCM marks in 10+2

Qualification for BE

The candidate should be pass in 12th grade ,A Level, IB,American 12th grade or equivalent with physics,Mathematics and English with chemistry or biotechnology or computer science or biology or statistics or engineering drawing as optional subjects for admission to BE and a minimum marks of 50% in Physics,Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

Admissions

The test is an online test that goes for about a month,where the students have to choose the date for the examination beforehand

Application Form

Candidates are required to send the FORM which can be filled online here or can be brought from the AXIS bank and SBI bank branches (Take a look for the bank branches here-) + DD/Challan for Rs 1000 drawn on ‘Manipal University’ payable at Manipal or Udupi on or before 2nd March, 2009

The candidates have to select the date for the examination. Candidates applying for BE can choose the slots from 10th March to 19th March 2009 here

Scholarships

Candidates applying for BE course and within the first 1000 ranks of the respective merit list are offered 100% freeship. Such freeships are limited and the numbers will be as decided by the University. The freeship will cover only the course fee payable for the particular course of study. The candidate will however be required to pay the registration fee and caution deposit payable at the time of admission. The freeship will not cover the expenses such as hostel accommodation, books etc.

Tips for the examination

The exam is overall simple with basic questions,the requirement is speed. As their is no negative marking try to attempt all the questions and remain calm during the examination.Also try to take a date for the examination just after the AIEEE,it would help you a lot.
